Keeper Squad is back this spring based on requests from parents and the Squad kids themselves!
Helping Boys Build Social-Emotional Skills Through Play
What is Keeper Squad?
A fun, small-group program designed to strengthen your child's social-emotional skills in an organic, play-based setting. We meet at various Monmouth County parks over the course of 8 weeks, and visit the best indoor venues during inclement weather. Boys will explore, play, and grow together in the community under the guidance of an experienced facilitator—Kerri!
Parents or caregivers must stay for safety purposes. While the boys engage in play, parents often find themselves forming valuable connections, sharing experiences, or simply taking a breather!
What We Focus On:
💡Developing meaningful social connections
💡Strengthening flexibility and coping skills
💡Encouraging problem-solving and teamwork
💡Cultivating authentic joy through play
💡Using customized social stories for weekly preparation

"I will be in my element managing all of their dynamics—building reciprocity, resolving conflict, developing perspective taking, and cultivating relationships!" – Kerri

A Little About Kerri
Families often describe me as 1.) enthusiastic, 2.) knowledgeable, 3.) going above and beyond what is expected.
I've been a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for 19 years and also a Certified Expert Level DIRFloortime Practitioner. I'm a lifelong learner -- I read, listen, and consume a lot of information about my "work" everyday. Superficial conversations and explanations have never worked for me!
I live in New Jersey with my husband and our 3 energetic boys (now aged 13 😬, 11, and 8). My house is loud and busy!
